Forensic Science Toolkits for Defense Attorneys
Our Toolkits
The Center for Integrity in Forensic Sciences develops and maintains forensic science toolkits for defense attorneys. These toolkits are informed by advisory committees of scientists and lawyers, and include:
an introductory primer on challenging the specific forensic science in criminal court
full access to relevant, peer-reviewed literature
full access to relevant, appellate and federal case law
sample legal filings, including briefs and motions
aggregated laboratory validations, where applicable
other resources deemed relevant

Signing Up
Our toolkits are currently free for all criminal defense attorneys. To sign up for toolkit access,
1. Fill out our signup form. Note that you must agree to relinquish access to all toolkits if you are no longer actively practicing as a defense attorney.
2. Allow up to 72 business hours for approval.
3. Look for an invitation from Airtable.com in your email. You will need to create a login, from which you will be able to access all toolkits. Please note that Gmail emails are most compatible with Airtable.
Troubleshooting
Email info@cifsjustice.org if you are encountering any issues with our toolkits or if you have been waiting for approval longer than 72 hours.
